Is YardCrawl free?
Yes! Listing a yard sale on YardCrawl is completely free — upload photos, list items with prices, and share your sale everywhere. You can optionally add Smart Listing ($5) to let AI name and price your items, or Boost ($5) to stand out on the map and notify nearby buyers.
How do I find yard sales near me?
Open the map on the YardCrawl home page to see every upcoming yard sale in your area. Each sale shows photos, items, prices, and times. You can filter by date, save favorites, and get directions — all from one map.
How does sharing work?
When you create a listing, YardCrawl generates ready-to-paste posts for Facebook, Craigslist, Nextdoor, Facebook Marketplace, WhatsApp, SMS, and email. Just copy and post — your sale link shows buyers photos, items, and a map all in one place.
Do buyers contact me through YardCrawl?
No — YardCrawl is not a messaging platform. Buyers see your sale details (photos, items, prices, and times) and show up in person. Your exact address is only shared with registered users within 24 hours of your sale and is never indexed by search engines.
What if my sale gets rained out?
You can update your sale date anytime from your dashboard. Buyers who saved your sale will see the updated date automatically, so they always know the latest schedule.
Can I plan a driving route between sales?
Yes! Save the sales you want to visit, then tap "Plan my yard crawl" to get an optimized driving route. YardCrawl figures out the best order to visit them and opens directions in Google Maps. Route planning is free for all users.
What is Smart Listing?
Smart Listing uses AI (Claude Sonnet) to analyze your photos and automatically name every item, suggest fair prices, and pick categories. It costs $5 per sale. You review and edit all suggestions before publishing — the AI does the tedious work, you keep full control.
What does Boost do?
Boost ($5) makes your sale stand out on the map with a highlighted pin for 7 days. It also sends a notification to nearby buyers so more people discover your sale. You can purchase Boost after creating your listing.
What is Premium?
Premium ($2.99/month) is for buyers who want instant email alerts when new sales are posted within 25 miles. Premium members can also set keyword filters and price range alerts so they never miss items they're looking for.
Do sellers need Premium?
No. Premium is designed for buyers who want instant notifications. Listing a yard sale is completely free for sellers. Sellers can optionally add Smart Listing ($5) or Boost ($5) to enhance their listing.
Is my address visible to everyone?
No. Your exact address is only shared with registered YardCrawl users within 24 hours of your sale. Addresses are never indexed by search engines — this is enforced at the database level, not just the UI.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Delete Account. Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. You can reactivate within the 30-day window by signing back in.
